Ecofit
Introducing Ecofit. With over 70 data points on 20 million UK homes, our new offering provides detailed information on a property’s fabric condition, energy use, efficiency, retrofit improvements, renewable installation costs and funding eligibility.
Insights to help save money, heat and carbon
Our technology allows suppliers to provide bespoke advice to customers to make changes to their energy use. This is revolutionary for suppliers, who have obligations from Ofgem meaning they must maintain energy efficiency in their domestic customers’ homes and, for business customers, their work sites, too. Mortgage providers, landlords, and social housing companies must also work towards a minimum EPC C rating by 2030 to avoid breaking the law.
The cost-of-living crisis has accelerated and increased demand for energy efficiency retrofit measures, but the disparate nature of the data that informs the best interventions was a significant barrier to measures being applied. The API solution will speed up the identification and eligibility process and the information provided will help to deliver the best outcomes for the pocket and planet.

How does it work?
Using data from a variety of sources and our own bespoke logic, we collate this data and make it usable and relevant so our customers can derive unparalleled value from unique data insights on properties.
Property audit
Energy suppliers can provide bespoke energy advice to their customers through the 70 data points available via Ecofit to help them save money, heat, and carbon. What’s more, suppliers will undoubtedly reap the benefits of higher customer satisfaction levels, which in turn leads to improved retention rates and the higher likelihood of being referred.
Energy efficiency
Ecofit can work with home energy management apps to understand the energy portfolio of a home and reduce their customers’ bills via the API. Integrated with their own systems, the API provides the data on the fabric of the property along with smart meter data.
Automation
Automate risk assessment processes with accurate data from multiple, trusted sources. Missing EPC data can mean some landlords are unable to let out their properties which leads to a risk of non-compliance.
What are the benefits?
UK households, landlords, and property managers can discover which free or subsidised energy measures, such as a boiler upgrade or loft insulation, are available to them through this unique automated energy performance data. Energy efficiency has never been so easily achievable, thanks to this game-changing database.
Unlock energy data for any UK home
We create a simple snapshot of each home built from 70 different data points to help identify how homes could be adapted to make homeowners’ energy spend go further. Such large-scale data blending means solutions can be specifically tailored with more accuracy, always.
Property Analysis
Understand the EPC rating of property portfolios to work out what costs will be needed to improve the energy efficiency of the properties. Reduce the risk profile of a property and automate risk assessment processes.
Decarbonisation
Insightful energy data provides granular information about which areas of the property need energy efficiency improvements. Profiling properties in this way can help towards the UK’s decarbonisation efforts.
